The ladder slipped and my dog fell

Great idea. In practice very disappointing. My dog walked up the stairs and she spun and slipped. He groped and slapped his jaw. Luckily he was fine, but my heart stopped because I couldn't catch him fast enough. I returned it straight away. It was secured with a carabiner but still twisted. I think the design flaw is that it's not wide enough for large dogs (my dog is about 60 pounds). I think if it were wider it would be much more stable. I really need something for Mr. Leo to get into the car easily, but I was very scared when he slipped. So now I have to find another solution.
