The desk is easy to assemble, a bit fiddly, but we managed it. I bought these for my fourth graders and second graders for homework. They have plenty of legroom and are big enough for a small laptop, but not all school supplies are on the table at the same time. My main complaint is that the table's second metal bar that holds part of the table is drilled from the wrong side! I thought I was going insane putting it together and thought I should put something back to front but my husband looked it up for me and it was a manufacturers mistake. The screw holes are drilled from the back. So we can't screw the table part to this top metal frame. The other table was also fine and both did their job except one table wasn't too stable.
