I have a 2019 16" MacBook Pro running Bootcamp and the only ports it has are a headphone jack and 4 USB ports - C. I wanted to be able to play a PC game with my PS4 controller like I did with my old 2015 MacBook Pro (which accepted regular USB) but since my old USB to micro USB cable didn't work , I decided to buy this USB -C-Micro-USB cable instead of using an adapter. It doesn't work. While the cable itself is solid and snug, it doesn't actually connect unless you hold the cable at a vertical angle to the controller and press for the controller to connect. You have to hold it "just like that" the entire time you play it, and ANY slight tug on the cable will turn the controller back off. My old USB-to-Micro had a USB cable e never had this problem so I returned this cable for a full refund and decided to just buy a USB-C to USB adapter instead so I can just use the old cable I already have and I know it actually works, connect this cable to the adapter. Let's hope it works because this cable is useless.
