I need a docking station that will allow me to charge my switch while I play. All docking stations that come with built-in chargers have too many negative reviews, and those that plug into a TV can even lock your device (making your Switch completely unusable, for example), according to some. All of this was enough to put me off these types of docking stations. This little stand is perfect as it elevates the Switch high enough to use the charging port so you can charge it while gaming. The different angles are very helpful and I've managed to use all three angles depending on where I'm setting the game. The docking station is very easy to set up and folds neatly for storage/travel. There are two small bulges on the lever that holds the switch that gently hold it in place. The stand is solid enough, but it's most prone to falling in its highest position. However, to actually drop it I had to shake the table it was sitting on hard, so I don't think it's worth worrying about unless you have small children or animals accidentally banging against it bumping tables. In any case, moving the stand back to the center position completely solves the problem.
