Review on 🐱 SmartCat All Natural Clumping Litter: Eco-friendly Solution for Effortless Odor Control and Quick Clean-Up by Erica Williams

I would like to start by saying that I have MANY problems with my cat peeing in the house. I'm desperately trying to solve this problem with different types of fillers that he might like and different odor blockers to make his bathroom experience excellent and keep my couch from making a mess. Also, he's not the best at burying poop. As you might have guessed from the title of this review, I use a litter robot and usually regular clay litter, but since my cat isn't good at burying, my scavenger robot kept showing skid marks on the sides as it turned. This prompted me to try this brand to see if it could help with this issue. I noticed straight away that the litter didn't smell and this prevented slip marks on my cleaning robot. I was so happy that I had probably found some type of litter that fit the litter robot and made my overly picky cat happy BUT after a few days I found my cat was urinating on the couch and carpet overnight. I examined the tray to see what could be causing this and was horrified by the horrible smell coming from the robotic tray (like pure ammonia). When I cleaned up all the residue, I found that the urine was stuck to the bottom of the cleaning robot (which is made of rubber). I used a shovel to try and clean it up and it was VERY hard and still wet with piss. Carry, and just a day later, more urine spilled onto the bottom of the robot bowl, and there was another accident on the couch. it can happen but I never expected it to get stuck to the bottom of my garbage robot like this and have a horrible smell filling the room. I don't know if the lumps on the bottom are just the rubber bottom of my filling robot or if it never would have happened with a regular tray, but even the fact that the lumps on the bottom were still wet baffles me. This is the non-absorbent filler in my book. If you have a robotic putty knife and are looking for an alternative to the clay putty knife, I strongly do not recommend this product. While this solved my skid marks problem, it opened the door to other problems that are more difficult to solve. I'll let you know when I find a suitable type of filler.
