Review on UE ROLL 2 Volcano Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Waterproof) by Michelle Moore

First time reviewer, I never bothered to write a product review before UE Roll 2, the experience really appealed to me. Pros: Before moving on to the expected plentiful negatives, it is worth noting that the product (as long as it works) is quite reliable. Value for money: high-quality sound, comfortable volume range (loud enough for any reasonable use of a device of this size), relatively easy and lag-free connection to an iOS device (via app), elegant design, easy to carry. In terms of "cost" I was satisfied, although the sound quality does not come close to the more expensive alternatives. Cons: The device inexplicably broke down after 6 months of light use (almost all at home). The device suddenly stopped charging due to a bad battery. I'm quite a tech savvy guy and have followed every path to a solution. After troubleshooting, clearly give the result of a defective battery that needs to be replaced. It is not covered by the highly limited factory warranty. Changing the battery is not cost effective. I was a bit upset at this point, but my gears didn't grind until I tried contacting the manufacturer to ask for a replacement. The customer experience was very awkward (on purpose?) a) had to dig through numerous websites to find the right contact number for the service center b) faced more hurdles to call a competent person. I didn't purchase an extended warranty given the low price, which can be called my fault. Imo the reason for the mail function is a direct malfunction of a cheap product, so the terms of the standard warranty are crap. I've always been the type of guy who buys high-end electronics, you get what you pay for, which was evident in the Bose device I now own. knowing not cheap enough for that reef ruff.
