Twelve year old Schnauzer/Poodle mix ("Schnauzer") loves the taste and keeps very healthy on this food as his "staple food". Over the years he has developed arthritis in his joints and has a 'popping joint' in his forefoot when walking. We had to put him on baby aspirin for a while to make him less picky about pain. With Nutrisource Senior fortified with the minerals glucosamine/chondroitin, he stopped "clicking" and now rarely needs aspirin. Like a young dog, he's chasing rabbits in the yard again, running after them incredibly fast. I am very happy with this dog food and this review comes after placing a second order for an 18lb bag from PetFoodStation. Your total cost, including shipping, is less than US Bones (the first seller that appears in the search). This is really shocking as US Bones is in Chicago and only 10 miles from where the dog lives while PetFoodStation is in Maryland! PetFoodStation ships quickly and the food is fresh, not old stock that expires on the packaging. Check the expiration date of dry pet food. Essential oils in food can go rancid, especially after opening the package. You should only buy what the dog can eat after about 3 months. For an 11.5lb cord, this is an 18lb bag.
