so far i have been quite happy with these filters although they only lasted about 4 months instead of 6 months (which was the case). have years until early 2020). I subscribe to these filters and am saving and have also ordered another one to ensure I can replace one immediately if needed. So I had two with me and the one I opened today was a fake. The tip that goes into the fridge turns out to be awkward, doesn't click and doesn't quite fit. I was able to close and start the water without a clicking sound. But the color of the water didn't look right. I took it out and opened another one that looked authentic and looked exactly like the ones I had previously bought. Then I noticed that the serial number on the fake is different from the other two. If you look at the photo, the middle one has an expiration date (which expired last year, not this year) in a different format, and the middle filter (the problematic one) has a slightly different label color than the rest. I don't know what happened, but since I bought it a long time ago I guess I can't get a refund. I paid about $50 and it's very frustrating. So far so good until recently. What happened?
