I ordered these dehumidifier bags because I live on an island where it rains a lot, there is water everywhere and it is very humid here. You must be very careful with items such as bags, shoes, belts, etc. as moisture can damage these items. I received this product in the mail yesterday which was a very quick delivery. Last night I hung the first bag in my shoe closet and today I can already see drops of moisture collecting in the drainage bag. I have noticed that the balls stick together a bit from the moisture absorption, which means that they run fast. The box says they also help eliminate odors, but I use baking soda to help with that in my shoe closet. A bit of double protection in this area is definitely desirable. I will put one in each of my closets including the handbag closet. I'm so glad I got 10 sets! It will be of such great help.
