When I received this I was dismayed upon opening it at how thin and light it was. Thought I could at least try it on to see how their sizes fit, but of course I'll have to order one of their other thicker shirts. 5 minutes after putting it on, I realized that I've probably never felt so warm in a t-shirt during winter. just unbelievable. After trying it for a day or two, I ordered another one in black. Update 6Nov19 : After 6 months of use this navy blue has many holes on the back. black is ok. none of the other (more expensive) competitor wool t-shirts I bought at the same time did. It has been washed in a good machine and only air dried, treated very carefully. Now I would change the title of my review to "Wool T-Shirts Change Lives". not necessarily this one.
