I later had to insulate a section of our 4 inch PVC sewer between cleanings to apply the root killer treatment. Side depth is 9 feet. I bought a garden hose to NPT adapter from a big box nearby, pulled out the Schrader valve fitting that came with it, used my adapter and connected it to my compressor with an air hose. I really didn't want to use water to build up the pressure. I also pulled the included handle/strap and replaced it with a 12 foot piece of rope. Each of the plugs came out clean, the air hose and rope attached with no issues and rotated 90 degrees in the tee. I opened the compressor valve and pressurized it to about 50psi, which was enough to inflate and seal the plugs. I used the root canal (soaking) for 8 hours and there was no leakage through the plugs. Overall, they worked very well for my purposes. I'm not sure they'll be of any use to me in the long run, but they appear to be well built and I have no doubt they'll be ready the next time I need to clog a pipe.
