I wish I knew what they are made of

Let me start by saying that these are excellent tea bags. At first I was concerned that the tea might spill out of the pouch and into my cup due to the lack of a clasp or clasp. It's not like this. They work great and eliminate that nasty metallic taste you get with a metal tea filter. However, I have some serious concerns as to what they consist of. The manufacturer answered questions about the contents of the sachets on this page. : 1) from unbleached Manila hemp (02.10.17); 2) they are heat sealable so there is no glue on them (19/18/18); 3) they are made of both natural and synthetic fibers and are not biodegradable or compostable (12/5/18); and 4) they are not compostable but "to the best of our knowledge" (09/30/19) do not contain polypropylene. Their website so far states that the filters are biodegradable! Therefore five stars for the quality and functionality of the filter. product and zero stars because they are transparent about what the product contains and their responses to consumer queries. So what is it? Tiesta, please give us a direct answer! What are these filters made of?
