Sample material - Paper

What is it made of? I drink a lot of tea, so that's important; I will not drink melted plastic with my tea, whether I like it or not. Conflicting answers on this page so I emailed them directly. They insisted it was paper, biodegradable and compostable. The bag definitely doesn't look like nylon. I did a burn test, it smelled like burning paper, no chemical smell. Burnt out, not melted. Left only ashes, no alien traces. I feel safe using them. I wonder if the product changed at some point…

Loose Tea Game Changes

Traveling around Europe I noticed that all expensive hotels serve loose tea in these bags and fell in love with it. This is an extremely convenient way to enjoy loose leaf tea without the hassle of cleaning the tea infuser. While the screen needs to be washed, the bag is said to save water. They are made from Manila hemp, a renewable resource that grows quickly. They also appear to be compostable and should break down easily over time. The pouches can hold quite a bit of tea and will expand…

I bought these tea filters because I wanted to send my girlfriend a pack of loose tea to try. I also thought that I could use them when traveling, on vacation, etc. After much research I bought this product. I'm sure they will do their job but I don't like the fact that nowhere on the packaging does it say where this product was made. I noticed that in the question section there were two answers that said they were made in Germany. This was one of the main reasons I chose this product over…

Also suitable for coffee

I used to buy pull rod filters that were a hassle to fill, tighten and close. These valve filters are made in GERMANY, not in China like most filters of this type. The filter is usually made. The hole fits most standard coffee spoons, but you have to be careful not to spill the coffee grounds. The top flap simply folds up and you can put it in your pocket. Attention: There is no glue and the top does not close completely. To save time, I fill several bags at once and store them vertically in an

DIY tea bags! Save $$$

These are good for herbal teas. I've found that I can brew up to 1 liter of tea with 1 bag, but they work best for individual cups. Sometimes I seal bags with caulk (I just fold the flap over first). My only minor complaint is that the pockets get stuck in pairs every time for some reason, but it doesn't really matter that much. This is way better than using a tea ball - you don't have to worry about floating tea particles or extra cleaning. sealed for disposable tea bags. I now use plastic…

I wish I knew what they are made of

Let me start by saying that these are excellent tea bags. At first I was concerned that the tea might spill out of the pouch and into my cup due to the lack of a clasp or clasp. It's not like this. They work great and eliminate that nasty metallic taste you get with a metal tea filter. However, I have some serious concerns as to what they consist of. The manufacturer answered questions about the contents of the sachets on this page. : 1) from unbleached Manila hemp (02.10.17); 2) they are heat…
