DIY tea bags! Save $$$

These are good for herbal teas. I've found that I can brew up to 1 liter of tea with 1 bag, but they work best for individual cups. Sometimes I seal bags with caulk (I just fold the flap over first). My only minor complaint is that the pockets get stuck in pairs every time for some reason, but it doesn't really matter that much. This is way better than using a tea ball - you don't have to worry about floating tea particles or extra cleaning. sealed for disposable tea bags. I now use plastic wrap sealing because it's quicker and easier than sealing with my Food Saver. I'm sure an iron (not steam) would work as well. Just make sure 3 edges are sealed before filling, then seal the remaining edge. By doing this and buying my herbs in bulk, I can make a full batch of 30+ bags for less than a dollar!
