Uncomfortable and difficult

I bought this to match the garlands that were outside and wrapped around a branch. A few things I really don't like: 1) The copper wire is exposed which might be fine inside or on another project, but I use them outside and can't imagine they would hold up well. Previous string lights I bought from another seller had a clear plastic cover over copper wire and they have withstood several summer storms. It's a big deal, but when you're wrapping something (like a branch) you have to thread the wrapped wire and bulky solar cell through the branches and leaves, which is very annoying. The solar panel caught it all and it was a real headache. The previous set allowed me to turn off the solar panel when placing lights. 3) My previous chain of lights (from another manufacturer) turned on automatically when it got dark and off when it got light. They also had a remote control that allowed them to switch between different blink settings. The previous thread has invariably caught fire for several months and through countless summer storms. This branch of power requires you to manually press a button to turn on the light. This is inconvenient if you want to hide the solar panel in an inconspicuous place. Correction - you say it works automatically, maybe you need to fill it in. The automatic element has not yet been clarified. 4) The colored light is NOT WARM. This is a bright white light. My other strand is golden amber but these are classic cool white LED lights that will not add any ambiance to your evening garden. I wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend either. I would include another seller but they no longer sell lights. main fright.
