Review on GE 44899 Equivalent Dimmable Daylight: Brighten Up Your Space with Adjustable Lighting Efficiency by Milton Wolf

These bulbs don't always turn on straight away. Sometimes it takes 15 seconds for them to turn on after turning on the light switch. When they appear, they flicker. I have purchased (8) of these lamps. Four are the 40W GE version and four are the 60W GE version. ALL have the same problem. I thought it might be an issue with my electrical system, but first I wanted to rule out the possibility that it could be the bulbs. I bought another brand to replace it and the replacement parts work fine. I do not recommend these GE lamps. They definitely have an issue that makes them unreliable. I would recommend another brand as LED bulbs are a great alternative to incandescent bulbs.
