directions are not very clear. The English site is written in very broken English. Instead, follow the pictures. I put some ice cubes and some water in the tray and actually caught a BIT cold on my bedside table last night. It's not very loud. It's loud enough if you like to sleep with the fan running. You can move the vents up or down if you want to direct the air away from you. It is very small, very light and easy to take anywhere. No cable needs to be connected 🔌. It needs to be charged via a USB cable. Hope it lasts long. It will be a great thing to lug around for those thermal menopausal events! 😂
