Updated 10/17/2020 This solid outer case clearly has a weak circuit board. The switch button has fallen off and cannot be repaired. I need to change from five stars to one. For reasons unknown, my RV builder was unable to install a 12 volt light bulb above the stove to illuminate the hob. All they have is a 120VAC lightbulb in the vent, which is also an air conditioner. Really stupid about dry camping, which is what I do all the time. It's just a waste of time starting my lightbulb generator! This little device solved that problem. My wife puts it under the microwave over the stovetop and the magnet keeps it securely in place. It really helps in the late evening hours when we want a cup of hot food and it's getting twilight in that area. No need to start the generator and upset the campground neighbors. Given the presence of ferrous metals, I'm sure this will be put to good use elsewhere.
