Can't say enough. I've used a couple of these indoors and hung them on the back and it's a lot better than both together, it actually works and after a week or so it's quiet and needs cracking which means more and more bubbles will appear if it's working properly . Works and purifies water quickly, the drip tray holds a lot and regulates bubbles by moving up and down the tube. Get this if you're looking for a protein skimmer, no time to look elsewhere. much more expensive and possibly too big. Ideal for small tanks 40 and under
