Have been using these carpet grabs for about 4 months and they haven't moved an inch!Without backing and stuck to a glossy oak floor.I have vacuumed the rug several times, rolled over the corners and sides and there was no twisting or shifting. I've also pulled and moved the rug and it stayed in place right after and there was no residue! Even on the "" Got up sofa flops" that kick the rug every time you sit down. Highly recommend! UPDATE: Has been almost a year and I've flipped the rug back and forth about 8-10 times (in and out of different rooms). The handles leave no marks when lifted and the corners never detach from the backing of the rug itself. In most cases you can lift and re-tape the rug with no problem, but sometimes it will move after re-taping . When that happens, I dampen a paper towel and wipe off the sticky part of the mat that's stuck to the floor, let it dry for a few seconds, and put it back down. It will hold up like new again. No offset. highly recommended,
