Review on πŸ’‘ Ceramic Chandelier Incandescent Sockets: 10 Pack for Enhanced Lighting Solutions by Kirt Phillips

Definitely an update on cheap plastic sockets! Would buy again!

I had a fairly expensive handmade metal lamp with 8 candlesticks. Unfortunately, the great craftsmanship has been overshadowed by the choice of cheap plastic sockets used in many candelabra fixtures today. The cheap plastic either cracked or the thin piece of metal used for electrical contact broke off leaving no contact and I was left with only two usable outlets. Anyone who came up with the "smart" idea of skimping on metal and using that crappy plastic should file a class-action lawsuit for fraud. But enough of my ramblings about my previous disappointment. Now enter this item, a sure balm for all my troubles! Be blessed that you continue to offer all-metal tips that are securely encased in ceramic and trusted by generations. It's just what you need, ready to replace junk with a durable replacement. The base mounts are threaded to attach to an existing threaded mount and the wires are securely attached, although ideally I'd like half my mounts to be longer. I had to lengthen the wires cut from what was left of the original sockets for the longer arms of the lamp. Not perfect, but worth no stars. When I finished replacing these outlets, my unit was fully lit, all 8 outlets reliably working as they should when the power was first turned on. Screwing in the lamps was as smooth as I would like, in contrast to the plastic's tendency to cross-thread. I already have a project to replace two extra outlets that are available to me now. Stop pulling your hair out and swearing by major technical flaws in most modern candelabra lights! Buy these replacement parts and save yourself a lot of trouble!

Pros

Cons
