I've tried mounting this bracket to standard Ritchey 31.8 round handlebars, but the bolt that comes with it is too short for the nut that is built into the bottom bracket pivot arm to hook This model is oversized with three separate adapters for different handlebar diameters. The thinnest adapter is rated at 700 psi, which is the industry standard for drop bars. When I put the rubber washer in place and aligned it in the bracket, the bracket didn't close far enough for the very short screw to hook into the built-in nut. . I was able to secure the bolt with a soft padded woodworking clamp to depress the clamp but it just wasn't secure enough. KOM must deliver these fasteners with a screw that is a few millimeters longer. In the end I chose COM. Aero version installed with no issues.
