I was reluctant to modify my 2015 VW Passat as I didn't want to introduce possible malfunctions or void the warranty. I bought them after much research and the minimum required for installation. I have to say they work GREAT! They gave no errors and shone much brighter than standard halogen. I didn't have to reinstall them as they were perfectly level when tested. Installation was definitely tricky, especially given the limited clearance on the driver's side. I couldn't get the lever to "click" so rather than trying and possibly frustrating to the point of breaking something, I decided to just remove the headlight housing and install it that way. If you are having trouble installing and have the time/tools handy, remove the bodywork from the car as this makes installation extremely easy! I was even able to attach clear rubber spacers to keep them in place. I haven't had them that long and time will tell if they live up to the hype. At the moment you can't go wrong if you want quality headlights and a European made car!
