I bought these as I wanted my 2016 VW Golf to be a bit brighter. After installation, the visibility of the low beam became even better than the standard high beam. I found them too bright. I was reluctant to modify my 2015 VW Passat as I didn't want to introduce possible malfunctions or void the warranty. I bought them after much research and the minimum required for installation.
