Two of these chargers work 24/7. One has been in operation almost continuously since mid-June 2014, the other since the end of April 2015. I also use an IQ4 controller to connect them together. They are used to run computer equipment connected to a large battery. (Only one unit is currently active on the 120V side due to circuitry limitations. I change them about once a week.) These units work great. They run fairly consistently at 45 amps with no issues. When the power goes out and the battery gets low, the chargers turn on with more power to start the device and charge the battery. My only wish is that the devices on the DC side have cable lugs instead of screw terminals. The screw terminals are suitable for cables up to 4ga and in my experience the cable gets quite hot when the device is running at full power. It's not the charger, but I'd like to use a bigger cable. I also plan to buy more in the future, but it looks like you won't be able to connect more than two devices. *** Updated January 9, 2017 she got. They are amazing. Each device runs in the 30-40 amp DC range with no problem, and when I unplug one, the other easily draws up to 55 amps. I'm considering either upgrading to the DLS-90 or adding an extra charger, but I still have the (seemingly unique) situation where more than two chargers need to be connected to the IQ4, which doesn't seem possible.
