Excellent hose for aquarium pumps. It's soft enough to pass under stones and other decorations. Some reviews found this unfair as they are used for purposes other than the aquarium. Soft hoses are needed for an aquarium, as these harden somewhat over time in the aquarium water. In fact, a soft tube at pet stores is more expensive than a hard conventional tube. I've run it a good 10 feet from the pump due to the location of my reservoir and it hasn't buckled or reduced aeration at all. So if you want a professional snorkel go for a soft airline like this. Otherwise, take the old traditional hard clear or blue tubes that stand out and are difficult to hide behind other decorations. Your choice. Try it or be an amateur.
