Goodbye endless buckets of water!

The 50ft hose gave me enough room to work. Assembly is quick and intuitive. It's better than lugging buckets of dirty water around the house. Pro tip: Once the water starts running into the sink, turn off the water and (just) run the hose to the drain. This improved the flow and wasted no water. Filling the tank was easy and hassle-free. My back is happy!

Works MUCH better than cleaning the siphon!

Cleans MUCH better than siphon hoses - much less residual dirt floating in the tank. A superior design that uses the Bernoulli principle to create a powerful vacuum and remove dirty water from the tank to the outside or to the sink. I didn't think I would use inflation valves but they have proven to be very helpful. Several water source adapters are included, but the only minor issue is that the hose adapter thread pitch isn't standard US size, but it works if tightened to just a quarter turn…

Nearly perfect. It takes a little fix and it becomes a five star product.

Overall great product! I liked the brass fittings on the faucet. Such an improvement over my previous gravel vacuum (another brand). The only thing I can't say so positively is that the nozzle needs to have something that goes into the tank itself that you can use to open/close the flow of water. When refilling the tank there MUST be a way to stop the water flow at the end of the tank as it is too difficult to just run to the sink/faucet to stop the water. My kitchen sink faucet has a detachable spray head and none of the adapters work. I went to Home Depot and after looking around I got a "MHT 3/4" x 1/2" MIP Brass Adapter" to make it work. In order for it to drain you need to turn on the faucet full force so the suction has enough power to pump water and first you need to put the end of the cylinder in the water in a certain way for it to work. Suitable for filling, not for emptying - it drains slowly, hardly sucks in, there is not enough information in the instructions.

Three problems: drains slowly, almost does not suck, there is not enough information in the instructions. Expires, but very slowly. This method uses a lot of water to build up pressure to empty the tank - about the same amount of water is wasted as it is emptied. Let's take it back and find a more efficient method. My old squeeze siphon worked just as well (but my new tank is 90 gallons instead of 40 gallons, so I'll have to find something stronger). The suction power is definitely NOT enough…
