Why 4 stars? It lathers well, hands have a reputation for being skin-friendly, doesn't overly exfoliate, doesn't hold bacteria as long as a loofah, and doesn't contain any harmful chemicals. Why not 5? - I would put two handles instead of one to pull him back and a fourth on his back instead of trying to massage between the shoulder blades and straighten his elbows with chicken wings. Plus, it leaves me "squeaky clean," which I find washes out and doesn't replenish skin-protecting body oils. All in all, I subscribe to this product because it COMBINES both the washcloth and shower gel.
