I was late in diagnosing this battery as I had a weak battery that I wanted to check and revive but was completely dead before I used these clamps could use. When I plugged it in, there wasn't even enough charge to Bluetooth connect and get readings, so he must have been pretty far away. The instructions say to install the ThinkCar developer's ThinkEasy app, but there is no such app. Rather, Thinkeasy is a submenu of the ThinkDiag app in the Gadgets list. At first I thought ThinkDiag was a paid feature unlocking app, but it turned out that it was only in OBD mode. Battery Diagnostics is a free item in the ThinkDiag gadget menu. The app is easy to use when connected to a good battery, Bluetooth connects fairly quickly and gives voltage readings. You can get more detailed information about battery status, charging status and vehicle starting. I think this is a great little tool for the DIY enthusiast or any mechanic looking for an easy way to check the battery status from their phone and find out the details.
