It is comfortable to use, the temperature is switched by the button, the selected mode is marked with a white indicator below. Warm, hot and cold air flows from bottom to top. The speed is switched by a switch in the middle. My thick, shoulder length hair takes about ten minutes to dry. High speed straight blows everything in its path, the first speed turned out to be the maximum on my old hair dryer. Ionization here is the most common, like on any other hair dryer: the hair does not fluff and that's okay. For me, this is important, because the hair is porous. The cord is long and has Velcro to tie it neatly. You don't see that often either, which is a plus.
