Review on Rocketek® Cigarette Lighter Adapter Splitter by Paul Weakland

The main problem I have had with this unit is a mechanical conflict between the long 12 volts and the circuitry in my car. This 12V USB plug sticks out a lot as it should. And after you add another 12V plug or USB cable, it takes quite a long time. Makes and models vary and I encourage you to check ahead of time. On my Honda the 12V connector is near the automatic transmission shifter and under normal conditions there is no interference. With this "cigarette lighter adapter" the stick almost collides with the adapter. If I add a USB or 12V cable there would be problems. As I said, this is very vehicle and model dependent and that's not why I deducted 1 star. The remaining USB outputs are impractically placed. They stick out, so this adapter needs a lot of space to accommodate those straight USB connectors. If the USB ports were placed on a narrow edge, cables and adapters would take up significantly less space.
