I bought this for my iPhone 12 Pro with a MagSafe silicone case. I used the included suction cup and it fell off the first night but I put it back straight away and it's been on for over a week now. I also didn't bother cleaning the inside of the windshield or cleaning the suction cup after it was dropped the first time, so I'm more than happy with it. The magnet is more than enough for a heavy 12 Pro so it would be perfect for that 12 or 12 Mini. I can't say how this will affect the Pro Max, but I'm willing to bet it will be fine. It's never crashed and I drive a hard suspension car so it would have fallen if it had gone normally. Wireless charging works, but it's pretty slow with my current settings. Unfortunately, I don't have much experience with wireless charging, so I can't tell if wireless charging is slow or fast. I got about 5 per cent in a 20 minute ride while running Spotify and Waze with Waze active on screen (so decent power consumption). Overall I'm happy with the performance as my battery life is pretty good at the moment. The connector on the mount is USB C, which is odd for a device made for Apple devices, but it doesn't matter. Unfortunately, the cable that comes with this mount is only about a meter long, so I had to buy a 10-foot cable. 3 feet is a normal expectation, so I'm not happy with this product for that reason either. I also bought a new car adapter but it only outputs 12W/2.4A so I'll keep looking to see if I can get one with a higher wattage to potentially increase my charging speed. Build quality is acceptable to impressive (it's acceptable that it's good if I don't think it should be better in any way)). The mount from the suction cup to the mount itself is plastic but ok. The mount itself feels like machined aluminum, which is a much better material than I'd expect from something that doesn't have a well-known brand name or anything. Overall I am satisfied with the product and will buy again for my other car, as soon as it is ready for use. again. to possibly increase the loading speed.
