This is a very solid balm that will work wonders for your cracked skin. We've all been washing our hands lately and it has left my hands rough and cracked. After really just one use of this balm, I can tell the difference. Yes, there are other balms and no, they are not all the same. It is soft and does not leave greasy hands when rubbed in. I have to say that you can apply it anywhere you feel cracked skin. I especially like the scent. I can smell a subtle lavender scent, but it's not strong. I almost thought I smelled mint, but after checking the ingredients, there is no mint in it, but coconut oil and olive oil are. I know the scent will be pleasant enough as it is not strong but very subtle. I think this would be a good balm to put on problem areas before bed. But for me - for now I will use it all day after washing my hands. I need extra care for my skin and winter has only just begun here. It arrived at the perfect time. It deserves 5 stars for quality and value. This is a good size container for the price.
