Review on Patterns ByAnnie Annies Stiletto Pressing by Denise Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great device survives a week in the lake!

Great piece of equipment that will withstand being submerged in water! I just wanted to share the weirdest review of a cool gadget. I love the sharp metal stiletto to guide my fabric next to the sewing machine needle and I finally decided to invest in this Patterns by Annie "stiletto and press tool". It doesn't roll off the table like my old one and its tip is rougher to grab the fabric better. I ordered one from Revain and when it didn't arrive despite being assured the postman had put it in my parcel, Revain sent a replacement. The tool is really excellent and justifies the price. But one day a neighbor came to my door with a sodden envelope that she found thrown in the pond downriver from the mailboxes. Apparently, the package jumped out of the hands of the postman, drifted down the drainpipes, down the creek, and fell into the pond. The packaging was so wet it fell apart. Made out of wood and metal, I was sure the stiletto would be useless. But the wood didn't swell and after a week's standstill there wasn't a trace of rust on the German metal tip. I now have a spare and am really impressed with the quality of this little tool.

Pros
  • Art Supplies
Cons
