This is a great addition to my camping/cooking outfit. I'm picky about my coffee, I like strong coffee. It was a great, solid and reliable device. The only time my coffee was of poor quality was because I was eagerly boiling water. So it's not the fault of the press. This is a great item and the only problem is the same as my glass bodum that I use at home. Capacity. Have taken my Bodum on a hike a few times and the idea of crashing it was too much stress and if I was backpacking I wouldn't take it for anything. Although this thing worked just as well. Also appreciate the optional coffee filters. It was a nice touch. If you like good coffee and love camping, get it. stop shopping I think I spent 3 days on it before deciding to go for it and I have no regrets.
