I have a rice cooker, a grill and a kettle. It took me months to decide on a bread maker. It arrived and I enjoyed using it. What a disappointment. Followed the instructions on the letter.1. It was loud, unbelievable. The body of the machine vibrated. What a noise. By no means has the time function ever been used to start eating fresh bread for breakfast early in the morning. 2. The bread was nothing special. It tasted like cheap supermarket bread. (Yes, I have tried different breads and use quality products). There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bread I bake without a bread machine. Even my French friend LOVES my bread which is closer to the French bread she's been trying since she moved to the US.3. The hinges CANNOT be removed. I hurt my fingers trying to get them out. If you have to soak them before cleaning to remove them, what's the point if you want to bake another loaf? Talk about time.4. The time it takes to bake a mediocre loaf while I can bake a great loaf in less time. Not worth the time, money or counter space. Save money and find sugar-free freeform boules.
