later I bought this massage mat to use with my sitting table at work. I usually wear Kenkoh sandals at home and as insoles in my casual shoes, so I was looking for a similar effect with a standing mat. I can already say that this mat will do the job. I'm a runner and have a variety of foot conditions including plantar fasciitis so I practically live in Kencox. The mat may not be comfortable for delicate feet, but I think it's great. And my 6-year-old daughter also felt comfortable standing on it. I have already bought another carpet for a colleague. Highly recommended.
