Very interesting.

Bought to replace a 20 year old CD player. For around $30, I'm not setting my sights on anything fancy, just something to play CDs with. Here's what I have. It does the job. The manual is printed in faint ink and probably in 3 dot type and is illegible and there is no online manual - go to the website listed in the manual in the box and you won't find it can product at all. It's also not there when searching the web for CD user manuals. Time for a magnifying glass or a good copier. Or maybe italics! You can use a rechargeable battery (which was not included and there was no charger) or 2 x AA batteries if you flip the switch in the opposite direction and set 'rechargeable' to the 'off' position . I don't know how to find the charger as the company doesn't even acknowledge that this product exists on their website. The volume has a circular dial on the side, and you can't get anywhere by trying to turn it up. It also has a button under the screen that can increase volume and deepen bass. This works great, but I have no idea why the function is split. Headphones work well. Make sure the plug is fully inserted; it got stuck halfway and needed an extra boost when I first tried them. You can also use the external speaker jack. You can program up to 20 CDs in this unit but I'll have to wait to actually read the instructions as I'm from the Stone Age and haven't done it with other products. Stay with us as they say.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Easy maintenance
