I love that they are natural fibers but these brushes are terribly hard! I noticed that most of the reviews on here discuss the drybrush. For me they are too hard to clean the body with a dry brush. I have softer brushes that I use for dry brushing and even those can be quite intense at times. So another use for them is the shower/bathtub. They feel a little softer when wet, but the cords and wooden beads absorb/hold too much water and mold quickly. Again, it's great that there are natural materials here, but every wood/cotton item I tried using in the shower immediately and irrevocably mold. Although I live in Florida and that might be a factor. If I could replace the cords with plastic ropes they would be more likely to last a while. I personally don't find brushes easy to handle or use. Maybe it's because I'm used to brushes with handles. Cords on them make it difficult to clean the skin thoroughly; The brush seems to roll and doesn't feel very firm on the skin. Also, I've just discovered that it takes more effort than using a single-handled brush. They come in a cool can. It's kind of like an oatmeal box with a removable lid. A strange smell, probably from natural fibers. No big deal, just noticeable.
