The basket itself is great. I bought this to use the Ladies Electra Townie 21D EQ. It's lightweight, well constructed and durable. The quick reset function is great. However, the steering wheel holder is unfortunately made of very weak plastic. How the load capacity of 5 kg was achieved remains a mystery. The mount is designed to hold the basket a few inches from the head tube and there is no spacer to support the basket on the head tube. A light touch of the fingertip was enough to bring the basket down, which put significant strain on the plastic mount. I immediately removed it and sent it back. If the manufacturer went to an aluminum mount and included some sort of support so it wouldn't fall off when loading, this would be the best basket available.
