I've had several of these slicers and this is the best of them except for an old steel peeler/apple slicer that I've had for years. We bought a little plastic for the hands and sent it back because the veg had to be so small to get in the camera and then it was difficult to work with the hands. I also had a similar plastic one, but it's too light and of poor quality. This one is better than expected. Excellent suction cups, heavy all-metal construction, and easy blade replacement and cleaning. Very happy with it.
