works perfectly! First class customer service/tech support available

This interface, along with the correct seat belts, allowed me to retain all of the factory features on my 2008 Silverado 2500HD LTZ. It must be flashed or programmed with a computer for your specific vehicle and factory options. The website does a good job of helping you with the setup, showing you the drop down menu options specific to your vehicle and all the different factory options available. Uses real photos of factory bikes to ensure you choose the right options. It also asks for the specific model of your main device after repair and includes actual images of each device for reference. Setup only takes a few minutes once you know what options come with your car. The only thing I didn't like about this interface is that it has connectors on opposite sides and makes installation a little less tidy. I moved the factory wiring harnesses to make the installation cleaner and less cumbersome. There was one harness I wasn't sure about so I called the manufacturer and the customer service/tech support was prompt and excellent. I didn't linger at all. I just called, called tech support and within seconds someone was on the line with perfect English. I was not asked for the date of purchase, place of purchase or any serial numbers. I just asked for vehicle and head unit information and all of my questions were answered in about 4 minutes. The person on the line even suggested that I familiarize myself with the functions of my head unit. When used with the correct wiring harnesses, this interface allows you to keep all your factory features and even add some extra features (sensors reading vehicle information from the OBDII connector if your head unit supports it). Please note that at least a little technical experience helps with the installation. If you have never installed an aftermarket head unit before, professional installation may be required.
