Not too thick, not too thin. Ideal.
Bought to make wrapping for this year's Christmas present easier. It's eco-friendly (regular wrapping paper has trouble recycling or incinerating), is made in the USA, is extremely economical, and comes in a wide roll so you can wrap any size bag. Got a cute wine ribbon and looks great. The weight is perfect - not super thin like bad wrapping paper, but not too thick either. As a result, it does not tear unnecessarily and is easy to fold and stick on the packaging. Decorate with stickers, rubber stamps or whatever you want and it will be versatile as craft paper. Too bad I bought it years ago.
