Review on 📻 Improved Weather Alert Midland WR100 Radio (No Longer Manufactured) by Jay Williamson

I bought this weather radio because it was made by Midland. A very old and reliable manufacturer of meteorological equipment and electronics. I also picked it up for $30 (and free shipping), it was a bargain. I'm happy to say that this has definitely turned out to be a very smart investment. The radio is small, has great reception (at least here in New England), and best of all, it was easy to program and personalize. You can also set the blue backlight to stay on all the time (although the manual doesn't mention this, but it's easy to understand). Some other reviewers have also mentioned that the alarm is very loud and cannot be adjusted. While this is true, you have the option to silence your alarm so that only the backlight and running alarm are visible during an emergency call. Unless you live in an area with very hazardous weather, this is all most of us would need. If you live in a dangerous area, then rejoice that the alarm is so intrusive! I would highly recommend this radio to anyone who wants a no frills weather radio that still has all the features you will ever need.
