What has to be said does what it says on the tin as you can see from the photos. It's more plastic than rubber if that's what you're looking for. Similar to the hard plastic found on WeatherTech floor mats. The only issue with the setup I had was of course the trunk and throttle but to be honest there is nothing you can do about it fitting like that because it is very difficult to land accurately in that area. Also, they feel great, fit really well, and I don't see them (especially the rear passenger floor mats) curling around the edges like WeatherTech does. I have seen that many of the aforementioned companies (passenger) floor mats tend to curl up on the "lips of the wall" over time due to wear and tear I think. I think these are a little more durable.
