UPDATED! Xprite contacted me after seeing my review and offered a replacement knowing full well that they are 3 years old and out of warranty. So plus a star for the excellent customer support. Also, I should note that I bought the JW Speaker just to find the Hyperfirmware. It's more like a 2007 JK - sensitive to resistance changes. Also, I tried to contact JW Speaker but got nothing. For those who say you get the best service with an American product, my experience so far seems to be the opposite. So another star for looking more like a Jeep (especially 07 and early 08) than an Xprite. I'll update the review again when they've improved the brightness, but they're dimmed so you have to assume these are intentionally dimmer. Also many complaints about the water. I like Florida and the summer rains are very heavy here. My jeep is outside. No water or condensation has appeared in these fittings for 3 years. – (Original Review) For the price they are decent but there are a few comments from the person who has installed them for 3 years now (2016): 1) The brightness is not good. They are a bit dull and get worse over time. 2) They come with resistors to prevent excessive flashing, but the resistors are very cheap. I ended up replacing it with a much higher quality iJDMToy resistor and finally solved the hyperflashing problem. 3) After 3 years the plastic is very worn out. In fact, the darkened lens now looks like someone hit it with a bat with hundreds of microcracks. To put it bluntly, the fact that they lasted 3 years and for the price, I can't complain. They are a significant improvement over the standard devices and very easy to install. However, it's time to replace them and I'll splurge and switch to the JW Speaker 279 series taillights.
