Surely rainproof but not submersible

I used it for VHF radio while kayaking. This will certainly protect your radio during a downpour, but it leaked a little while sitting in a puddle on the bottom of my boat and I'm sure it will wear out and leak with heavy use if it's on the bottom of the boat kayaks sits. It was good enough for travel, but with full immersion I wouldn't want to test it.
