The Rabbit Lever Corkscrew has a fantastic design. Some people have mastered the waiter's corkscrew, but others (like me) just don't have the upper body strength to handle it. For us wimps, the rabbit lever is a must. Simply wrap the base around the neck of the bottle (after removing the cap with the included foil cutter) and rotate the lever up and down. TA Dah! My only complaint is having to replace my old rabbit after only a few years. The one I had was covered in a black "flexible" material that you had to hold on to comfortably. Living in a humid area, the material absorbed moisture from the air and hand oils and became very sticky and rough. It didn't dissolve in soap and water or cleaning sprays. Thankfully, that black and gold isn't coated with that material - it's only used on half the base (the lighter black in the photos). Rabbit corkscrews tend to be quite expensive. So if you live in a humid climate, you might not want to invest so much in something that you will need to replace in a couple of years. We hope that since it only has a bit of "flexible" material it will last a little longer (or at least don't bother me that much).
