I bought 2 different types of locks of this type to deter thieves. The red was about $15 cheaper. See photos Pros - solid construction, nice weight (not so heavy, wife can't stand it), bright color, easy to put on and take off. This boot has 90° claws that wrap around the rim better than cheaper ones. Finally, it will fit on the rim of a truck if needed (anything cheaper will not fit). Cons - the locking mechanism is a little flimsy. However, this applies to both boots I bought. Another downside is that while it can be placed on the driver or passenger side of the car, in my opinion it only fits the driver's side best. Not a deal breaker but something to consider.
