I have a very good vintage stereo amp that has no connectivity. I bought this unit and hooked it up to my amp's "ribbon" input via RCA plus (I told you it was a Legacy) and now I can send music from my laptop to my stereo. That works great. I tried this with the Google Music Puck a few years ago, but the sound was terrible (very tinny). But with this small device, the sound is close to CD quality. Everything worked right away. I had my eye on some fairly expensive Bluetooth-enabled DACs, but decided to try this one first because it's so cheap. I thought why not? I'm glad I did because it's exactly what I was looking for at an incredibly affordable price. Honestly I'm blown away by the sound quality for the price. Very happy!
